September 2026 - Product update
This month is mostly about completion: seeing where journeys are stalling, prompting the right people, and giving goals the weight they actually carry. Three things were released, and one of them is a substantial rework of a page you already use every cycle.
You can always see what's coming next at roadmap.korero.io, and tell us what you'd like prioritised.
Chasing completion, without the spreadsheet
Usage page - significant upgrades
The Usage page in Analytics has been rebuilt around one job: lifting completion rates. You still get status totals for assigned, completed, in-progress and not-started journeys, with the ability to see who sits in each status and export the detail. What's new is everything that turns those figures into something you can act on.
For monitoring:
- Attention prompts flag work at risk of not completing.
- The Outstanding journeys explorer breaks incomplete work down by manager or by location, so you can see who is behind rather than just how many are.
- A League table ranks completion rates by location or job level against an internal benchmark.
For acting:
- Nudges, sent from the page to the managers or employees who need prompting.
- AI Focus, for AI-enabled clients, which suggests where your effort will make the most difference.
Getting a journey cycle finished is largely a chasing exercise. The old page told you how far off you were, but working out who was responsible meant exporting the data, working through it, and contacting people separately. That's enough friction that it often didn't happen. Everything here shortens the distance between spotting a completion problem and doing something about it.
Good to know: anyone whose access role includes Analytics can open the page and use all of it for monitoring. Nudging is an admin action - managers are nudged from the "Outstanding journeys" section, employees from the "Data" tab. Nudges have a 72-hour cooldown per recipient, so the same person can't be prompted repeatedly by different admins. AI Focus isn't available on every account; whether you see it depends on your company's configuration within Korero.
Your colours, your call
Setting your company colour scheme
You can now set your company's primary colour, accent colour and background tint yourself, from Platform Configuration in the admin area. One less thing you need to raise a ticket for.
Open the admin homepage and look for the Platform Configuration tile under System Configuration - it isn't in the left navigation. The Main Details tab now includes a Colour Scheme section. Set your primary and accent colours, add a background tint if you want one, and save. Leave the tint blank and Korero uses a pale version of your primary colour instead.
Good to know: this is controlled by the Platform Configuration permission. Superadmins have it automatically, everyone else needs it assigned. It's worth being deliberate about who gets it, since Platform Configuration also covers maintenance mode and your company name - you may want administrators who run people and journeys day to day without the ability to change company-wide settings. Colour changes can take a few minutes to reach everyone, because colours are cached. And if your organisation uses Brands, each brand carries its own logo and colours based on location; the colours you set here are the defaults used where a brand has none of its own.
Not every goal counts equally
Weighted goals and objectives
Goals and objectives can now carry a weighting, and those weightings feed through into performance scores. A goal that represents most of someone's year can now count for most of their score, rather than sitting alongside a minor objective as though the two were equivalent.
Each weighting shows as a percentage against the goal, and a review step shows you the running total across current goals. If the total doesn't come to 100%, the weightings are scaled so that they do.
This one needs setting up on your account rather than switching on yourself, so if weighted objectives would suit how you run performance, get in touch and we'll talk it through.
What's next
October is likely to be a quieter release month on the surface. The main change coming is a meaningful improvement to analytics filtering, with the rest of the time going into flow automations that won't land until later.
